About The Event

Her Many Voices Foundation invites you to share your wisdom with the world.

If we are to overcome the modern challenges we face, we must embrace the indigenous wisdom available to us. We invite you to share yours. The trials of the past year have deeply reinforced our global interconnectedness and the urgent need to let go of that which no longer serves us.

WHO: We at Her Many Voices Foundation call all the children of the earth into this new direction, firmly rooted in the wisdom of Indigenous Peoples and Cultures.

WHY: This Earth Day Celebration will be a celebration of our earth; why and how we work so hard to heal the damage of modern industrial greed and carelessness.

WHAT: Do you have wisdom to share? Is it performance art, knowledge from your family or people, something you have discovered through your own experiences? Teach us what you know - share your passion. Together we will build the world our Mother Earth deserves.

HOW: Submit your idea for a short reading, performance, or presentation to be part of that day using this form. Final products must be submitted by April 10.

We look to the medicine wheel, also known as a Sacred Circle, for inspiration. Medicine wheels were created thousands of years ago and come in more than one form. Their significance and use is culture specific. Medicine wheels are interpreted uniquely to each culture. We cannot make a generalization in its use for all peoples. One fundamental similarity though, besides the shape, medicine wheels represent the alignment and continuous interaction of the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual realities. The circle represents the interconnectedness of all beings, including that connection with the natural world. We also recognize that which is below us (Mother Earth), that which is above us (Father Sky) and that which is within us. All is sacred. All is connected.
